What is the “Affordable Connectivity Program”
The Affordable Connectivity Program is an FCC benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more.
The benefit provides free internet service for eligible households. Maxsip Telecom understands the importance of connectivity and offers free internet to those on Medicaid, WIC, SNAP (Food Stamps) benefits, ensuring individuals and families can stay connected and informed. Eligible customers can also receive a 4G Android tablet for a one time $20 copay.

If the household income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines, or if a member of the household meets one of the listed criteria:
- Received a Federal Pell Grant during the current award year.
- The National School Lunch Program or the School Breakfast Program, including through the USDA Community Eligibility Provision.
- Participates in one of these assistance programs and lives on Qualifying Tribal lands
Any member of your household can make your household eligible. For example, if your child or dependent participates in the Free and Reduced-Price School Lunch Program, your household qualifies for the Free Internet Benefit.
Through the FCC Lifeline Program, eligible individuals can enjoy the benefits of The Affordable Connectivity Program.
Lifeline is a program to help make communications services more affordable for low-income consumers. If you currently receive Lifeline benefits, Medicaid, you automatically qualify for the Emergency Broadband Benefit, and you can receive both benefits at the same time. You can apply your Free Internet Benefit and your Lifeline benefit to the same or separate services.
You (or someone in your household) can qualify for the Affordable Connectivity Program if you participate in one of these federal assistance programs.
You may need to show a card, letter, or official document as proof that you participate in one of these programs when you apply for the Affordable Connectivity Program.
